Our editorial policy
The standards behind the Fan Journal: clear sourcing, useful context, honest boundaries, and a practical route for corrections.
Purpose and scope
We publish fan-first guides and explanations across sports, collectibles, trading card games, fitness, Pokémon, and clearly separated 21+ odds education. The aim is to help readers ask better questions and make their own considered choices, not to manufacture certainty.
Articles use the shared byline FanaticsPodcast.com Editorial. A byline does not imply a medical, financial, legal, coaching, or authentication credential.
Sources and changing information
Each long-form guide includes an editorial reference to a relevant primary or authoritative source. A linked source supports the particular passage that cites it; it does not necessarily endorse the article or every proposed routine.
Check current official sources for rules, event arrangements, service terms, and other changing details. The journal is not a live results, price, legal-status, or product-availability feed. Publication dates identify the article’s stated publication date, not a promise that all linked services remain unchanged.
Observation, interpretation, and examples
We distinguish what was observed from an interpretation and identify invented numerical examples as hypothetical. A proposed notebook, practice loop, or organizational routine is a suggestion to adapt, not a proven outcome guarantee.
No testimonials, listener totals, awards, professional credentials, commercial partnerships, or episode availability are asserted without a factual basis. The site does not publish betting picks or card investment recommendations.
Independence and commercial interests
This publication is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fanatics, Inc., Pokémon, a league, team, game publisher, or betting operator. Names identify editorial subjects only.
This site contains no affiliate links, sponsored placements, sportsbook promotions, or paid reviews. Any future commercial relationship should be disclosed clearly alongside the affected content rather than presented as independent editorial opinion.
Corrections and reader questions
Send the page address, the specific passage, and relevant evidence to [email protected]. A concrete source or description helps separate a factual correction from a disagreement about interpretation.
Substantive changes should be identified when made. We do not use automatic “recently updated” labels simply to make older articles appear new.
Boundaries that matter
Fitness articles are general information, not a personalized exercise prescription or medical diagnosis. Collecting guides are not appraisals or authentication services. Event guides do not replace an organizer’s requirements.
Odds education is marked 21+, uses hypothetical examples, and does not require gambling participation. Support resources are available on the Responsible Play page.
